1- 4 oz. can of Colman's dry mustard powder
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 egg
1/3 c. granulated sugar
mayonnaise

Yields: 1 1/2 cups
Preparation time: 25 minutes plus 30 minutes cooling nad overnight refrigeration

Mix mustard and vinegar in a glass jar. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Beat egg in top of double boiler. Stir in sugar. then add mustard mixture and cook over hot (not boiling) water, stirring constantly until mixture is thick enough to coat a spoon. Cool. Add mayonnaise equal to mustard mixture. Serve chilled. Store in airtight jar in refrigerator. Will last for several weeks.

This mustard is loved by many men! I make it at Christmas and Easter when I know we'll be having a ham. Some people do not add the mayonnaise, but then it is really tangy!
