1 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg chocolate chips
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup crumbled cereal flakes
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Mix in egg yolk and vanilla. Stir flour with salt and mix dough until dough is smooth. Add cereal and chocolate chips. Mix in. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.Bake in 375º oven for 15 minutes until lightly browned. Makes 5 dozen
