1 lb. ground chuck (or beef)
1 clove garlic (minced) I use garlic powder
3 cups beef broth
3 cups water (sometimes I add more, if too thick)
1 tablespoon salt
1 onion (chopped)
1 - 10 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
1 can Bushes kidney beans (I use Great Northern beans)
1/2 to 3/4 head of cabbage (chopped) depends on size

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and onion in a large pan. Spoon off as much grease as you can. Add rest of ingredients, cover and simmer till cabbage is tender.

This is good with a good bread from bakery, heated like homemade. Pull off big chunks and butter.
