2 Large onions cut into 1/4 inch slices
1/4 cup butter
1 (3 to 4#) boneless bottom round roast
5 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp browning sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
12 to 14 French rolls, split
1 cup Swiss Cheese Shredded

Directions:
In a skillet saute onions in butter till tender, transfer to slow cooker. Cut the roast in half and placing it over onion slices. Combine water, soy sauce, soup mix, browning sauce and garlic, mix well, pour over roast. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or until meat is tender. Remove roasts with a slotted spoon and let stand for 15 minutes. Sliced thin across the grain. Place on rolls and sprinkle with cheese. Broil 3 t 4 inches from heat until cheese melts. Serve with dipping sauce.
