1/2 Cup Melted Shortening
1 Egg
1/2 Cup of Table Molasses
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Cup of White sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together 1/2 cup melted shortening, 1 egg and 1/2 cup of Table Molasses and cream together. Then combine 2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp each of ginger and cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp salt. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture. When well blended add 1 cup of white sugar. Chill before baking. Roll in small balls and allow for room to spread on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 min @ 375º.
