3 sticks of butter
1 box of powered sugar
6 large eggs
2 1/2 powdered sugar boxes of cake flour
2 t vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream softened butter and powered sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Measure sifted cake flour in the powered sugar box two and 1/2 times. Gradually add flour to the sugar, butter and egg mixture. Add flavoring and continue mixing. When batter is smooth and all flour is incorporated pour into prepared tube cake pan. Place cake in a cold oven and bake at 300º for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Test for doneness with a tooth pick. Remove from oven and invert on wire rack. When cake is cool sprinkle with powered sugar or frost with cream cheese frosting. Also, delicious with fresh berries and whipped cream.
