1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
Blend in
1 c. shortening
Add
1 egg
1 c. peanut butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1-1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Roll dough into small balls, place on cookie sheet. Press flat with a fork. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
