Combine in a 2 cup liquid measuring cup:
1 c. of milk
1/2 c. water
1/4 c.butter
Heat in microwave for 1.5 minutes or to 120-130 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl:
3 1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. yeast (or 2 packages of dry yeast)

Preheat oven to 425F

Gradually add warm liquid (be sure temperature is not above 130 degrees) to the flour mixture. Mixing at speed 2 for 1 minute. Add additional flour if needed. You will want the dough to not stick to the sides of the bowl.

In a glass bowl add 2 tbsp of oil (veg. or olive) and kneed dough into a ball. Cover bowl with a towel and let rise for 15 min.
Spray muffin pan or bread pan (if you choose to make a loaf instead of rolls). pinch dough off and round into balls place in pan and let rise for another 15 min. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden.

I sometimes also add 2-3 tsp. of garlic powder or garlic salt to the flour mixture.
