Home made noodles:
1 beaten egg
2 TBS milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 c flour
Homemade Vegetable soup:
4 potatoes
2 carrots
diced onions to taste
chicken bouillon
water to cover

Directions:
Directions:
roll noodle mixture very thin on a floured surface, let stand for 20 minutes, cut with small chicken cookie cutter (alas, "Chicken noodle" soup), drop in boiling soup and cook uncovered for ten minutes.
Soup:
peel potatoes and carrots and dice and add with bouillons to water and bring to a boil.

This is a great fall soup - other than the chicken bouillon there is really no chicken - only "chicken" noodles!
Variation: Make friendship soup - everyone brings a vegetable to add to the soup. Read one of the many Stone Soup stories and prepare to make the soup. (You might even want to add a stone!)
