1 c sugar
1 c light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c pecans coarsely chopped(1 to ½ c)
2 T.. Margarine melted
3 eggs beaten
9" Pie crust(or make your own pie crust)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients. Pour into a 9" pie pan. Cook at 400º for 15 min. Then at 35º0 for 30-35 minutes It's ready when a ring darkens around the outer edge.

This recipe comes from the Karo Syrup jar. As I have grown older(and lazier) I don't make this pie. We count on Jack Jr. to bring it.
