Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg. active dry yeast
½ c water
½ c milk- -scalded
½ c margarine
1/3 c sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg beaten
4 c sifted all purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Use very warm water for dry yeast. Sprinkle dry yeast into water. Let stand for a few minutes, then stir until dissolved. Pour hot milk over butter, sugar and salt. Cool until lukewarm; add yeast, egg and half of flour. Beat well, add enough more flour to make dough so it will not stick to bowl. Turn out on floured pastry board and knead lightly. Put in greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Divide dough into halves. Roll each out on floured board to form a circle 12" in diameter. Cut each into pie shaped pieces. Roll up from wide end and place pointed side down on greased cookie sheet. Let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes. Bake in pre heated hot oven (400) for 15 minutes. Unrised dough can be refrigerated overnight and let stand at room temperature until softened. Makes 24 rolls. I usually make the rolls and bake them just until they are slightly browned. After cooling, I put them in plastic bags and freeze. This way use just as needed.

This recipe came from Nana, I don't know where she got it. I made them one year and entered them in the Kendall County Fair. They got a blue ribbon. Need i say more? They are to die for.
