1 c cooked taro mashed 1/4 c crisco 11/2 c flour
3tbsp baking powder 2 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 1'4 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cold taro and crisco. Mix dry ingredients which have been sifted together Add beaten eggs and milk Place dough on slightly floured board and pat it with fingers to half inch thickness Cut dough with light floured biscuit cutter or glass. Place biscuits on lightly floured pan and bake for 15 to 20 min at 425 degrees
