8 slices of bread, left to dry on a rack for 4 hours
butter/margarine
3 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
1/2 C. sugar
pinch of salt
2 C. coconut milk
3/4 C. coconut cream
8x8 square pan
larger pan for the water bath

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Put 1 inch of hot water in the larger pan and put it in the oven. Butter one side of the bread. (Trim the crusts, if you prefer). Cut the bread into crouton size cubes. Put the croutons in the oil sprayed 8X8 inch pan.
Beat the egg and egg yolks together and mix in all the remaining ingredients. Pour the custard over the bread and dunk the croutons to be sure they are soaked. Carefully set the pan inside the water bath in the oven. Bake at 325º for 55 minutes. Allow to cool for 20 minutes. On the serving plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy
