Ingredients: Cake: 1 package of cake mix (see variations) 1 egg 1 stick of butter, melted
Filling: 1 pkg of cream cheese, softened 1 can of any fruit (see variations) 3 eggs 1 stick of butter, melted 1 16 oz box of powdered sugar

Directions:Preheat over to 350*
To make the cake: Combine all ingredients and mix well with an electric mixer. Press mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking pan.
To make filling: In a large bowl beat the cream sheese and fruit (see variations) until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and butter, and beat together. Next add the powdered sugar and any spices (see variations) and mix well. Spread mixture over cake batter and bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Make sure not to overbake as the center should be a little gooey. Serve with whipped cream. |

Notes: Variations: *Pumpkin gooey cake:1 box of yellow cake mix, 1 can of pumpkin, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 tsp nutmeg. * Pineapple gooey cake: 1 box of yellow cake mix, 1 can of crushed pineapple drained. * Banana gooey cake: 1 box of yellow cake mix, 3 mashed bananas * Peanut butter gooey cake: 1 box of chocolate cake mix, 1 cup of creamy peanut butter. * Cherry gooey cake: 1 box of cherry chip cake mix, 1 can of cherry pie filling. You can make any variety of cake mix along with any variety of filling for the cream cheese mixture.
