1 c butter
1 c white sugar
1 c powdered sugar
1 c vegetable oil

2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
4 1/2 c flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients together. Blend well.
Add remaining ingredients.
Roll dough into 1" balls. Dip bottom of glass tumbler in sugar and press out balls. Mary Stenerson used a decorative press. Bake at 325 degrees until just brown. 8-10 minutes

Grandma Mary made these her signature cookie by stamping each cookie with her "S" imprint
