1 yellow box cake mix (prepared as directed on pkg.) (Duncan Heinz)
1/4 lb. margarine (1 stick)
1/2 cup crisco
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 small can evaporated milk

Directions:
Foil individual-size potato pans, greased and floured. These come in packages of 12 and may be purchased at large supermarkets. Either buy 24 or use 12 and fill twice. Prepare box cake. Fill each foil pan one-half full and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from tins. Cool. Cut in half lengthwise. Make filling by creaming margarine, crisco, sugar and vanilla. Add evaporated milk and beat about eight or ten minutes until sugar is dissolved. Place filling on bottom half of each twinkee. Replace top half.
