cookie crust:
2 1/2 cups flour
2 sticks cold butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

bar filling:
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups Karo syrup
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups pecans, chopped

Crust:
Preheat oven to 350º. To prepare cookie crust, in large mixer bowl at medium speed, beat ingredients at medium speed until it resembles fine crumbs. press firmly into 15x10 or 13x9 pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 25 mins.
Filling:
In large bowl beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Immediately pour into hot crust. Bake 25-30 mins until filling is firm around edges and slightly firm in center.
