2 cups cubed beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. oil
1 cup pearled barley
5 cups water ( I use beef broth and water)
2 cubes beef bullion
1 1/2 cups chopped carrots
2 cups chopped potatoes
1 tbsp. garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon each of the following: oregano, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, basil and sage.

In pressure cooker on the brown setting, saute onions.Dredge meat in flour and brown along with onions in pressure cooker. Place all the rest of the ingredients into pressure cooker and lock. I like to cook this for 50 mins or so, so that the meat is nice and tender.
