1 1/2 lb. shelled shrimp (about 30)
1/2 cup fine cracker crumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp. water

Directions:
Shrimp: Devein shrimp. Leave raw or boil shrimp in salt water for 5 minutes. Drain well.

Scallops: Thaw frozen scallops and blot dry in towel. Cut large scallops into pieces about 3/4 inch thick.

Combine crumbs, salts and flour. Dip shrimp/scallop in beaten eggs mixed with water, then in crumbs. Place one layer deep in frying basket. Fry raw shrimp for 5-8 minutes and cooked shrimp for 2-3 minutes, depending on size in deep fat heated to 365º. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with Tarter, chili, or cocktail sauce.
