4 c cooked quick (not instant) grits
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 stick butter
1 lb mild sausage
1 1/4 c sharp cheddar cheese
1 t garlic powder
S & P to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare grits according to package instructions. Add butter. Mix in cream of celery soup. Saute sausage until well done, drain and mix in to grits. Add 1 cup cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well. Pour into 13x9 baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350º until cheese melts and grits are bubbly.

If grits appear to be too thick, thin them with a little water or milk before adding the other ingredients.
