Directions:
1. Grind hot dog buns in food processor put in trash bag, set aside
2. Add garlic powder, salt pepper and cheese to the crumbs. Mix with hands
3. Blend anchovy paste & olive oil in food processor, add to crumb mixture, mix well with hands
4. Rinse artichokes, hit 2 or 3 times upside down to loosen leaves
5. Cut off stem and cut tops of artichoke with knife about 1/8" to make look neat. Cut thorns off of leaves with scissors (sometimes if you hit them hard enough they will come off).
6. Stuff leaves with bread crumb mixture
7. Wrap in foil leaving top open until after they are steamed.
8. Put about 2" of water in bottom of pot, put artichokes in and cover tightly. You can stuff about 5 or 6 in a big soup pot.
9. Steam for at least 1 1/2 hours or until leaves come off easily. The bigger the artichoke the longer it takes. Make sure that there is always water in bottom of pot

Stuffing artichokes is a lot of work but well worth it if you like them. If you decide to try this you can call me and I will help you thru it. One of the youngster in the family has to keep this going.
