2 lbs. frozen southern style hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. melted butter
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1-1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
2 T. dried parsley
2 c. crushed corn flakes

Preheat oven to 350º Mix all above ingredients except corn flakes in a large bowl. Pour into a 9 x 13 cake pan and spread evenly. Top evenly with the crushed corn flakes. Bake for 1-1/2 hours. Cover the last 1/2 hour so they don't dry out.

Let the potatoes thaw somewhat as they will be easier to mix. For extra rich taste, drizzle another 1/4 cup melted butter over the corn flakes before baking.
