1/2 cup margarine
3 cups sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups nuts

Frosting
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups powder sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the margarine, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Sift the flour, cocoa and salt together. Add it to the creamed mixture. Add nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Frosting
Sift the sugar and cocoa together. Add the butter, milk and light corn syrup to the sifted mixture. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add powder sugar and vanilla and mix. Pour onto the cake hot or let set till the bottom of pan is cool.
