Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage
2 cups chopped onions
1 cup butter
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1 T ground sage
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
16 oz dry bread crumbs
1 egg
2 cups chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage and set aside. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms, saute about 6 minutes. Add next 8 ingredients and cook 5 minutes. Toss with bread crumbs. Shape into 2" balls and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake uncovered @ 375º for 20 minutes.
