CAKE:
2 c all-purpose flour
1 c sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/3 c margarine/butter softened
1 c milk
1 egg


STREUSEL:
1/2 c chopped nuts
1/3 c packed brown sugar
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 T firm margarine or butter

Heat oven to 350º
CAKE:
Using an electric mixture combine 2 c flour, 1 c sugar, baking powder, salt, 1/3 c margarine/butter, milk and egg on low speed for 30 seconds then medium speed scraping bowl occasionally for 2 minutes
STREUSEL:
Mix all the streusel ingredients until crumbly.
Spread half of the batter in greased 13x9x2 pan or square pan 9x9x2.
Spinkle one-half of the streusel on top of cake batter.
Add the rest of the batter, then sprinkle the rest of the streusel on top.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or wooden pick comes out clean.
