1 stick melted butter
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 can Campbells beef broth
1 can Campbells french onion soup
2 cups Uncle Ben's converted rice
3/4 lbs smoked sausage, cut up
1 lb peeled and cooked shrimp or chicken
(or both)
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup chopped white or yellow onion
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp thyme
1 bay leaf
garlic powder or minced garlic
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingrediants and mix well in a baking dish or covered dutch oven. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 2 hours. Stir after 1 hour and remove foil for last 1/2 hour if you want the top to be more browned.
