1 c. white raisins
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. pecans
2-1/2 c. flour
salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda(dissolved in 1/4 c. boiling water)
1/2 c. whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
Mix raisins, dates, cherries, pineapple, & pecans. Set aside.
Sift flour, salt, cinnamon, & cloves.
Mix sifted ingredients with dissolved baking soda. Add sugar. Add butter. Add whiskey. Add eggs. Pour batter over fruit & nuts. Mix well with hands. drop from tsp. on to well greased pans. Bake 18 minutes @ 325º
