2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. pecans (chopped)
1/2 stick melted butter
32 oz. cream cheese
1-1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 16 oz. can pumpkin
2 T. pumpkin pie spice
2 c. sour cream
1/4 to 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Blend vanilla wafer crumbs, 1/4 c. sugar, pecans, and butter. Press in 10 " springform pan. Round up sides. Bake 6 minutes at 350º. Cool.

Soften cream cheese. Blend sugar and salt and beat until fluffy. Add flour in small amounts. Add eggs (1 at a time) and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Pour into crust. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes or 1 hour. Let stand 15 minutes. Combine sour cream, powdered sugar, and 1/2 tsp vanilla and spread on top of cake. Bake 10 minutes at 450º. Cool 4-5 hours. Loosen cake around edge with knife then release spring.
