1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 lb. ground veal
1/3 cup chopped onion
3 tbsp. finely chopped celery
4 slices soft bread, cubed
1 cup warm milk
2 eggs
Chili Topper

Seasonings
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning or sage
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire

Chili Topper
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup chili saucer
1/2 cup bowling water

Directions:

Thoroughly mix beef, pork and veal. Add chopped onion and celery. Stir in seasonings.
Soak cubed bread in milk; add eggs; beat with rotary beater. Combine meat and egg mixtures. Form in 2 loaves.
Roll loaves in dry bread crumbs. Place in greased shallow baking pan or jelly-roll pan. Spread chili sauce over each loaf. Pour boiling water around laves. Bake at 350º for 1 hour. Drizzle chili sauce over tops.
