1/4 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts
Frosting:
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
water, add a few drop of water until frosting sets add food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and margarine. Beat in flour, extract, and salt. Add nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Make a thumbprint in each cookie. Bake at 300º for 20 to 30 minutes. After baking fill each thumbprint with frosting.
