1 1/2 lbs. stew meat
salt/pepper
2 cups chopped carrot
2 cups chopped celery
2 cups chopped potato
1 onion (size of a baseball)
1 7 3/4 oz can of El Pato (hot tomato sauce)
2 14.5 oz cans of tomato sauce
water
1 cube beef bullion

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and pepper the stew meat. Chop onion. Brown the stew meat in a large pot Add the onion while browning the meat. Chop the vegetables and add to the browned stew meat along with 2 cans of tomato sauce, 1/4 or 1/8 cup el pato, and one beef bullion cube dissolved in water *add more water as needed to thin the stew liquid to the consistency you prefer. Bring to a boil and then lower the heat and cook on low/simmer for 2 hours or until tender.

This is a spicy red sauce stew- add less El Pato or eliminate if you don't like spicy stew. This is great served with sour dough bread- enjoy!
