2 (16 oz.) cans sliced peaches in syrup
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. flour
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Pinch of salt
2 T. butter
1 T. fresh lemon juice
2 pie crust
Fresh peaches optional
Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Drain peaches, reserving 1/3 c. syrup. In a saucepan, mix sugar, flour, nutmeg and a pinch of salt. Add reserved syrup and cook, stirring constantly over med. heat until mixture becomes thick and bubbly. Add butter, lemon juice, and fresh and/or canned peaches. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Meanwhile, line a 9 inch pie dish with pie crust. Fill crust and add top crust. Dust top with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 400º for 40-45 min. or until golden brown.

I like to use 1/2 very ripe fresh peaches and 1/2 canned. These mix well and taste good.
