# 2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
# 1 large yellow onion, diced
# 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
# 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
# 3 eggs, beaten
# 10 slices platter bacon, chopped
# 1 cup Italian Breadcrumbs
# 1 15 oz can Diced tomatoes
# 1 tsp fresh ground pepper
# 1 tsp kosher salt
# 3 Tablespoons Brown sugar
# 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard

Directions:

Saute onion and garlic with chopped bacon until translucent and cooked. Drain. Add tomatoes and simmer until thickened slightly.

Mix meat with eggs, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs.

Pour half of the tomato mixture into meat mixture and blend. Form into a loaf and place in pan.

Add brown sugar and mustard to remaining tomato mixture and simmer until thickened further. Spoon over top of loaf.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until cooked thru. During last 15 minutes, remove cover and continue baking. Let sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
