Directions: |
Directions:Let the Cream Cheese sit-out until it is 'softened'. Drain the can of crushed pineapple and Mandarin Oranges, do not discard the pineapple juice - set it aside. Place the softend Cream Cheese into a Large Mixing Bowl and Whip - it , add the Cool Whip and about 1 oz. of the pineapple juice that you drained off of the crushed pineapples; add the crushed pineapple , the mandarin oranges and the nuts blend on medium to high for about 3 or 4 minutes. (Make sure the Mandarin Oranges are as 'pureed' like in texture as your crushed pineapple.) You can soak your mixer beaters now. To finish You will need to get a Mixing Spoon-/or/-Spatula to start mixing in the marshmallows ... keep adding and mixing until the marshmallows are evenly distributed through-out the dish. At this time you may want to get a small bowl to eat - just to make sure it doesn't need more mixing. It is ready to serve , or put a lid on it and refrigerate until you are ready to serve it. |

Notes: I use the above amount to take to pot - lucks and other type get together s' and it has always been enough; so I wouldn't double it unless you are feeding teen-age boys, A football team .... or a get together that this would be the only dessert selection.
