1½ lbs. beef round steak, cut 3/4 inch thick
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
1 - 16 oz. cab tomatoes, cut up
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
1/2 tsp. sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Flour meat and salt it. Brown meat on both sides in hot shortening. Transfer meat to 12x7x½x2 inch baking dish. Blend rest of flour in pan drippings. Stir in undrained tomatoes, celery, carrot and Worcestershire sauce. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly, pour over meat. Bake, uncovered at 350º until tender, about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
