Ingredients: 2 pkg. yeast 1 cup lukewarm water 2 tablespoons + 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup margarine 3 eggs 5 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt

Directions: |
Directions:Dissolve yeast in water. Cream yeast with 2 T. sugar. In another bowl - cream 1/2 cup sugar and margarine. Mix well. Add 3 eggs to mixture and mix well. Add the yeast mixture to this. Mix in 1/2 cup flour and 1 teaspoon salt. Beat until smooth. Gradually add the rest of the flour. Place in greased bowl. Cover with towel and refrigerate overnight. The next day - divide into 4 parts. Roll into a circle 1/4 inch thick. Spread with melted butter. Cut into 8 wedges (like pizza slices). Roll up into crescent rolls - beginning with the wide end. Let rise 3-4 hours on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 5-6 minutes at 400º. |

Notes: I got this recipe from my sister, Sue. They are SO easy to make - you make the dough one day, and roll them out and bake them the next day. Many times I double the recipe and make part of these into cinnamon rolls.
