5 eggs
2 sticks butter
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Let eggs and butter come to room temperature. Sift flour and sugar and add to eggs and softened butter. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I used to visit Nita Pete every Saturday when I was about 9 and 10 years old to help her make her fabulous cakes. I mainly licked the bowl, but always got to take home half the cake to my family for the weekend. This was one of my favorites!
