Personal Notes:
Banana pudding was often our Sunday dessert because whatever Friday-end-of-the-week cake I always baked (and that I counted on to get me through the weekend) had usually disappeared. Somehow the quick disappearance of the Friday cake was a surprise to me every week, so I always kept the banana pudding ingredients on hand.
