Cake ingredients:
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup water
1/2 t salt
4 T cocoa
2 eggs beaten
1 t baking soda
1 t vinegar
2 sticks Oleo (butter)
1/2 cup buttermilk

Frosting:

1/2 stick oleo
3 T milk
1/4 cup walnuts
2 T cocoa
1/2 t vanilla
2 cups confectioners sugar

Cake:

Put water, cocoa and oleo in a saucepan and bring to a full rolling boil. Place the beaten eggs, buttermil, soda, vinegar and vanilla in a bowl, mix. put the sugar, flour and salt in egg mixture and mix together. Add water/cocoa mixture. Pour into greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 º for 20 minutes. Ice while hot

Frosting:

Combine oleo, milk, and Cocoa in a small saucepan. Bring to a full boil, stirring. remove from heat and stir in sugar, vanilla and nuts.

Cool and cut into squares.
