2 ½ cups sugar
½ cup white karo syrup
½ cup water
1 lb. butter (not margarine)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together on high heat until it almost boils.
Stop stirring as soon as the butter is melted. Do not
stir after it starts to boil. Cook to 276* . Lightly
grease a large cookie sheet. Cover pan with nuts
(cashews are best). Pour candy over top. Let cool,
take knife and stab (carefully) to break it up into
pieces.
