2 cups self-rising meal
1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp. crisco or vegetable oil
2 cups buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together good & pour in a greased loaf pan. Bake at 370º for 50 minutes.

If any is left-over, you can slice, butter & fry in a skillet for a minute.
