1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening (half butter or margarine, softened, may be used)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. oats
1/2 c. raisins
1 3/4 c. Gold Medal Flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla thoroughly. Mix in remaining ingredients. Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours or over night. Heat oven to 375º. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with greased bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake 10 min.
