3 1/2 c. flour
1 pkg yeast
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Measure 1 1/2 c. flour in large bowl. Add dry yeast & blend. Combine milk, water, oil, sugar, & salt in small saucepan. Heat to warm. Add to dry mixture & beat at #3 speed until smooth. Add eggs & beat at #4 speed until blended. Add 1 c. flour & blend at no. 1 speed. Add the other cup of flour & stir with spoon. Pour into 2 well-greased coffee cans. Put lid on cans & let rise. Remove lids before baking. Bake at 375º for 30 to 35 minutes.

When Grandma's youngest daughter, Linda, got married, she was given a mixer with a cookbook. Grandma found this recipe in that cookbook and copied it. She loved this recipe because of its ease. It is especially wonderful served warm with butter.
