1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. orange peel
¼ tsp. cream of tartar
¼ cup shortening
1/3 cup milk
2 T. butter
1 T. sugar
¼ tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, baking powder, orange peel, cream of tartar and salt. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make a well in center; add milk all at once. Stir just till mixture clings together. Divide dough into 8 pieces. With lightly floured hands, form each piece into a ball. Roll in melted butter: place in a 9” pie plate. Combine sugar and nutmeg; sprinkle over dough.
