1 cup milk (regular, soy, almond - whatever you choose)
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 banana, broken into chunks
14 frozen strawberries
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a blender, combine soy milk, oats, banana and strawberries. Add vanilla and sugar if desired. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

This recipe is very customizable (is that a word?). I've put all different kinds of fruit in it. I've also added yogurt to it, too.

Another thing I do is make it into freezer pops. It's a really quick, easy, on-the-go breakfast for the kids. Marina usually eats it at the bus stop. (I use popsicle sticks for the handles)
