1 lb round steak (cut into strips)
2 tbsp. oil
2½ cups water
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 can green beans
4 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. soy sauce
Directions:
Directions:
Brown the 1 lb of round steak in oil. Then add the 1/4 cup of water and simmer covered for 1 hour. Remove lid, add onion, green pepper and green beans. Combine the cornstarch, soy sauce and the remaining 2¼ cups of water. Add to mixture. Cook about 10 minutes, stirring until the liquid is clear and shiny. Spoon over rice or noodles.
