2 C. brown sugar
1 C. butter
1 C. flour
1 C. chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 C. cocoa
4 larger eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Icing: 1/2 C butter
5 tbsp cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
4 C (1lb) icing sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla together, beat until smooth. In a separate bowl mix flour, nuts and cocoa. Now mix both together and pour into a 9x13" greased pan. Bake in a preheated oven 300 degrees for 30 - 35mins (until toothpick or cake tester comes out clean).
Icing: In a lrg pot melt 1/2 C butter. Stir in 5 tbsp of cocoa, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp vanilla and heat just until boiling. Remove from heat and add 4 C icing sugar. Begin by adding small amounts of hot water and beat by hand until spreading consistency. Spread on brownies when cool.
