1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 15-oz. package caramels
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together cake mix, 3/4 c. evaporated milk, and butter. Spread 1/2 of the mixture in 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350º for 6 minutes and remove from oven. In microwave, melt caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated milk together. Sprinkle over cake in order; chocolate chips, nuts, then caramel mixture. Spread remaining cake batter on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes more, or until done.
