"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
In case anyone doesn't know----Marilyn is Hazel Gordon's 'adopted granddaughter' who gets away with anything and everything (or at least Linda--Marilyn's mother-- and Patricia--Hazel's daughter-- think so). Picture this: Marilyn and her boyfriend come in Hazel & Clarence's house with everyone sitting around AND HAVE A SNOWBALL FIGHT IN THE HOUSE!! Hazel & Clarence laughed. LAUGHED!! Linda and Patricia had heart attacks. Linda has been part of the family since college days.
