1 1/2 c. pumpkin (small can)
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
3 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1 - 6 oz. can evaporated milk
1 - 9 inch unbaked pastry shell

Directions:

Thoroughly combine pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices. Blend in eggs, milk and evaporated milk. Pour into pie shell.

Bake in hot oven (375-400º) for 50 minutes or until knife inserted half-way between centre and outside comes out clean. Cool at room temperature. Garnish with whipped cream if desired.
